Next Generation Robotics srl and Eye-Tech srl are two spin-offs of the Sant'Anna School that won the first prize in the "Innovative Start up" and "Research, development and digital innovation" categories

The ceremony of the "Amerigo Vespucci" Tuscany Innovation Awards was held on Monday 19th December, in Florence at the regional headquarters, an award established in 2015 to reward innovative startups and Tuscan companies that have distinguished themselves and contribuited, with projects and experiences entrepreneurial successes, to the growth and development of the Tuscan territory, enhancing and improving local supply chains. 

The awards ceremony saw, among others, the presence of the President of the Region, Eugenio Giani, the Preside of the Legislative Assembly of Tuscany Antonio Mazzeo, the President of Confindustria Toscana Fabrizio Bernini. 

Nine companies were awarded during the ceremony that distinguished themselves in the following categories: 

  • Research, development and digital innovation
  • Ecological and energy transition
  • Innovative startups
  • Youth Award
  • Special Mention

Two spin-offs of the Sant'Anna School were also awarded:

  • Next Generation Robotics srl won first prize in the innovative Start Up category, The company operates in the collaborative and inspection robotics sector, with the aim to introducing new solutions for industrial and medical applications to the market. For details visit the official site
